Dr. 'Dale

My mum and pop found this Airedale hanger at a little antique shop.  They didn't buy it but mum snapped a photo.

She calls him Dr. 'Dale even though the name on his scrubs shirt says "Dr. Appell."  She said she's sure his first name is 'Dale so he's Dr. 'Dale to her.

I would like an Airedale doctor but I don't think I would like Dr. 'Dale.  He doesn't look very friendly or welcoming or happy to me. Too serious.  We Airedales who have health problems need doctors who are happy, friendly, enthusiastic, and also sympathetic.  Maybe he would get lots of patients if he smiled a little.

I hope you are healthy and don't have to visit your vet very often.

Airedale Pooper Scooper

My mum is always on the look-out for Airedales everywhere she goes.

She found this cute Airedale  . . .

on the tag of this pooper scooper.

We are the cutest dogs but why would they put
one of us on a tag for a pooper scooper?
By the way, Mum didn't buy one.

Paper Airedale on Organic Dog Biscuit Cookbook

Mum is always lookin' out for our breed.  She saw this Airedale . . .

. . . on the cover of
The Organic Dog Biscuit Cookbook.

Even though the cover says it's "made with all organic ingredients" she didn't see anything in the box except the book and the cookie shapes.  She didn't buy it.  She told me we have ingredients for biscuits.

But Mum, I would like some organic dog biscuits now, please.  Don't you think I look cute?  Don't you think you could get busy and make them for me?

I hope your mum or pop makes you biscuits when you ask!

A Model Airedale

The Airedale may not be "perfect" but...

...the Airedale is a perfect model for these patterns.

My mum loves to see Airedales as models.  And she thinks we're all perfect, especially me!  She has this pattern but she's never made me a coat.  It's too hot for a coat now but maybe next year.

I hope you're all having a great day and staying cool (unless you're south of the equator, and then I hope you're staying warm).

Someone Drew an Airedale

My mum was walking through a store the other day and saw this!  It doesn't exactly look like me but I know it's one of my breed.  My mum says she wishes she could draw like that.  I asked her why, when she has the real Airedale -- me! -- right here in front of her.  Ha ha.

I hope you are havin' a good day.

What My Pop Found

My pop found this ad with an Airedale in the Sunday newspaper today.

In my opinion, it's about time we Airedales were featured in ads more often.  I don't personally eat Purina but I'm glad they hired an Airedale.

And that cat....  My sister has two kittens she brings home when she visits.  They are not very nice kitties.  They bat at my nose and try to jump on me.  Sometimes I have to growl at them.  I'll show you a picture of them another time.

My mum thought I didn't know what was going on when she took this photo.  I know that little, flat, rectangular box is a camera and she knows I don't like to be photographed, but I let her take this photo.

She thinks it's very cute how I cross my paws in front of me.

I hope you have a fun day.

An Airedale at the Store

My mum doesn't do a great job with her camera in the store:  she keeps gettin' a shine.  But she found these treats with an Airedale on them.  She loves seein' Airedales at the store even if they are only on labels.

Can you believe she didn't bring me a bag?  She says I have a tender tummy and that I have to stick to foods we know my tummy can handle.  Oh, well.  At least I get to share the photos with you.

Airedales at the Thrift Store

My mum was at the thrift store last week and found a book with photos of us Airedales in it.  She didn't buy the book because it only had two pages of us but she took photos.  Aren't we adorable puppies?  We think it's wonderful they put us on the cover!
Even Airedale puppies know what's what and what they want -- and they go for it.  Airedales are ready for LIFE!

I hope you're having fun in your life.

The Airedale is Not Named Fats

My mum found this book with an Airedale in it.  In case you didn't know, she likes books with Airedales -- but she likes me in person lots better.

It's called Christina Katerina and Fats:  and the Great Neighbhood War by Patricia Lee Gauch and Stacey Schuett.  The Airedale doesn't play a big part in the book but he joins in the "fun."

My mum thought the drawings of the 'dale were cute and liked a few of the poses.  She just snapped several with her camera and is only posting the cover and this one:

Maybe you could get this book and read it to your human/'dale.  The people are a little rowdy and we 'dales like rowdy!  I was glad the Airedale was not named Fats but I don't think that's a nice name, not even a nickname, for anyone.  Do you?

Paper Airedale Blue

My mum goes nuts over paper Airedales.  She has a huge collection of 'em she keeps in a book.  I told her she should start posting her paper 'dales because I still don't like being in pictures (just sometimes I let her take one).

She found this one in Sunday's newspaper.  It was part of an advertisement for Pet Cancer Awareness.  She's sure that puppy is an Airedale.  I think it is, too, because we Airedales are the biggest terriers (we're the King of Terriers, or in my case, the Queen, you know) and that puppy is way bigger than that cat.

So maybe I'll persuade my mum to keep on posting her paper 'dales.  (As much as she loves her paper 'dales, she loves me lots, lots, lots more than them.)

I love my mum, too.  For Mother's Day I let her play with my favorite toy for two minutes.

Bye for now,

Rocket Dog's TuckButtRun

My mum thinks this Rocket Dog is an Airedale doing a tuckbuttrun. Do you think so, too?

I think I look like that when I do tuckbuttruns. My ears go back and my tail sticks out. I go super speedy fast. I go so fast that my mum can't take a picture of me. She tried to take a video of me once when I was tuckbuttrunning but all that showed up was bits of me. I'm fast and she's slow.

Do you do tuckbuttruns?
